Yes. Reclaimed teak keeps the strength and water resistance of new teak while adding unique character and a lower environmental footprint, since it reuses timber salvaged from old structures. Every piece has its own knots, grain and tonal variation.

For optimal comfort, the height between the seat of your dining chair and the tabletop should be around 30cm. This allows your legs to fit comfortably underneath and prevents shoulder or back strain during long meals. Always consider the chair height when selecting your table to ensure a relaxed dining experience.

A good guideline is to allow 60cm of table width per person. For example:
- 120cm table suits 4 people.
- 180cm table suits 6 people.
This ensures everyone has enough space to dine comfortably without feeling cramped.

The position of the legs affects legroom and seating flexibility. Tables with legs at the corners offer maximum space, while tables with centre legs or pedestal bases may limit how many people can sit around comfortably. Always check the base design to ensure it suits your seating needs.

Wipe spills promptly, dust with a soft cloth, and keep the table out of prolonged direct sunlight and damp. Solid wood benefits from occasional oiling or a wood-care treatment to keep it looking its best.
